Mr. Garret R. Lazenby brings over 8 years of expertise in the cargo/transportation/insurance industry and specializes in transportation insurance, logistics insurance, freight forwarder/NVOCC/customs broker insurance, ocean and inland marine in-transit coverage and business trade credit insurance.
His passion goes beyond logistics and business trade credit insurance to include a broad range of insurance solutions for professionals, general commercial businesses, individuals and employee benefits for industries including manufacturing, technology, retail, wholesale, distribution and international business.
Prior to joining Sterling Risk Advisors, Garret was Senior BD Manager of the southeast for UPS Capital Insurance Agency; Account Executive for UPS Freight Forwarding where he received the World of Champions Award in 2008 and 2009, and was recognized as the top sales producer in 2009, earning the President's Circle of Excellence award; International Sales Executive for Cosa Freight; and Trainmaster for Norfolk Southern Corporation.
Garret received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Logistics & Intermodal Transportation from Georgia Southern University. He played Division 1 Varsity soccer and was awarded All-Conference, All-Tournament, Scholar Athlete and Team Captain honors.
